As CONSEQUENCES OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMICS FOR CRIMINAL LAW: An analysis focused on the crime of art. 268 of the Penal Code.

Abstract

The pandemic has presented society with several challenges caused by the coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2), and its effects have impacted the entire world. According to information from the World Health Organization (WHO), which made the pandemic official globally in the month of March 2020. Social isolation has become a new reality and with these judicial issues, especially in the criminal field. The main objective of this work is to analyze the penal panorama in relation to the pandemic and the legal classes that are relevant in this period, and the crimes that correlate with the current moment, focusing on article 268, which deals with infractions to determinations of the Public Power.
