MÉTODOS ÁGEIS APLICADOS AO SUPORTE E MANUTENÇÃO DE SOFTWARE NA INDÚSTRIA MATOGROSSENSE

Abstract

Nowadays, it is noticed that there is a large increase in spending in the maintenance and support phase in software development and, knowing the high popularity of agile methods it is important that we make an analysis of how they can solve this problem. This study consists of a bibliographic and field research with information technology professionals from the Mato Grosso industry, whose objective is to analyze how agile methods can influence the software maintenance process. From the analyses made with the data collected by the research, it was evident that more than 60% of the participants already use some agile methodology in their organization and that more than 80% believe that the use of such methodologies increase satisfaction with the system delivered, mitigating the problems related to costs.
