Abstract

Currently, with the great popularity of the web, there are collective awareness platforms that offer innovative ways to engage citizens in various themes. Therefore, it is possible to use gamification as a way to further enhance this process, promoting awareness and understanding of environmental issues. This article presents the proposal of a gamified web platform with cycles of garbage collection, recycling and other aspects involving sustainability. The authors believe that this is a solution that engages society through digital means in order to generate awareness in favor of the environment.
