Abstract

With the emergence of the new coronavirus at the end of 2019, at the beginning of 2020 already being considered a pandemic by the (WHO), habits such as social gatherings, work, studies, leisure, among others, which were previously considered normal and essential for society, became submissive to a new reality that the virus caused. Given the high rate of contamination tied to the number of deaths along with the high recovery time of the most severe cases, patients who are referred to the intensive care unit tend to stay long periods without the contact of family and friends. In order to increase humanization and even a possible contribution in the clinical evolution of patients, health professionals from public and private hospitals had the initiative to adopt the measure of virtual visits, in order to bring the relationship between the hospital and family environment closer together in a virtualized way. The present work has for its general reason, to carry out a bibliographic research, together with a collection of data from people whose training is in the area of technology, so that it can contribute to this communication between environments is made in a more effective and optimized way, analyzing protocols, flows and current technologies already adopted by hospitals for the realization of visits, all so that the simple act of communicating with people is available to all , based on this, we suggest activity flows and hardware configurations of some devices that are part of the process of visits.
