Abstract

It has long been observed that there is still a lot of refusal about the insertion of women in the job market in the area of ​​technology, even with remarkable women in history showing overcoming this difficulty. This study was developed through a bibliographic search, whose objective is to analyze and identify the difficulties in the search for equality and recognition of women who are discriminated in the respective area. Much is discussed on the subject, however, there is a need to take actions so that these women are included in the technology area. Studies already carried out reveal that women earn lower wages than men, although they are equally qualified. Due to the aforementioned facts, it was possible to conclude that women are increasingly gaining space, and equalizing rights, but still they are often harmed.
